In my recent visit to Hong Kong I and my project partner helped to record the last days of my aunt and uncle’s tea shop. The filming was done within two days, it was a personal project to show the older side of Hong Kong and a continuous trend of them fading away.

鴻昌泰 — Hung Chong Tai Tea Merchant is a historical tea shop located on Boham Strand, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong selling various types of traditional chinese tea for at least 60 years over 2 generations. Also specialising in pu’er tea. Before the retirement they invited us to capture its final moments, and we would like to share this journey with you.
